Active Release Technique® (ART) In Calgary

Active Release Technique® (ART) is a patented soft tissue system in which muscle is assessed and treated based on the amount of scar tissue that has formed in the muscle.  Scar tissue is deposited in healthy tissue as a result of acute injury, micro trauma (tiny tears), and hypoxia (lack of oxygen).  Each treatment is specific to the type of injury the muscle has sustained.
