Riverside Sports Therapy is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our integrative health team. The ideal candidate shares our evidence-informed clinical approach and our commitment to helping people move freely and improve their quality of life.
Note: This is a 12 month contract for Maternity Leave.
Requirements
- Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with 2200-hour certification and liability insurance approved through your association
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in techniques such as Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Prenatal, and Therapeutic massage
- Warm, professional, and committed to client-centred care
- Additional training in osteopathy, reflexology, or other continuing education is an asset
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Provide professional massage therapy services that are both relaxing and therapeutic
- Use appropriate clinical and medical terminology to assess needs and tailor treatments
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding preferences and concerns
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in massage therapy
- Keep a clean, calm, and safe treatment space for every session

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care, as well as experience with motor vehicle accidents (MVA), sports injuries, and WCB-related injuries. The Physiotherapist will work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance mobility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve mobility and function
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation, exercises, and self-care strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with standards
- Stay current with physiotherapy practices and advancements in the field
Requirements
- Strong background in manual therapy is an asset
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Valid physiotherapy license to practice in Alberta
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction
